Other features include:
The ability to overlay before and after files.
The ability to simply turn on or off the color codes for various axis that impact occurs on pinpointing X, Y, Z axis.
Data charts for plotting records.
Easily copied into any word processing documents with the click of a mouse.
A properties section where you can enter information about location and adjustments which were made; all date and file time stamped.
One of the most anticipated features is the reporting functionality with this software system. By pressing the print function you have the capability to print off the colored chart, sample data statistics and any notes about locations or adjustments that were made. David McNally, Agricultural Sales Manager for Sensor Wireless Inc. says "The reporting feature has been one of the key purchasing points for many of our consulting, processing and service customers. Its one thing to tell a producer or packer what is happening but so much more value is added when you can provide them with a report about your visit."
The Smart Spud™ is currently being used throughout the world to help reduce bruise and damage experienced by potato handling. The system is easy to use and instantly in real time can help pinpoint precisely where in the post harvest handling process damage is occurring. With its real potato shape and interchangeable casing between varieties the spud provides you with a precise feeling for how your crop is being handled. The Smart Spud can also be used for other produce commodities and currently Sensor Wireless Inc. carries a line of over 16 separate commodity casings.
